Julian Tang currently serves as the COO for the Innovation Office at BlackRock, a position held since August 2018, leading initiatives that integrate advanced technology solutions and operational excellence. Julian also functions as the Global Head of GenAI, M&A, and Change Community for Tech & Ops, steering BlackRock's AI-driven strategy and managing M&A activities. Prior to BlackRock, Julian was the Chief Information Officer at Tennenbaum Capital Partners, LLC, which was acquired by BlackRock in 2018. Julian's earlier experience includes roles such as Director of IT Infrastructure & Client Support at Mail2World, Network Project Specialist at Learning Tree International, and Network Administrator at Gensler. Julian holds an Executive MBA from USC Marshall School of Business and a BS in Telecommunication Management from DeVry University.
