Doug Fala has a Bachelor's degree in Mining Engineering from West Virginia University, and later pursued a Master of Business Administration from the same institution. Doug has held various roles at Peabody Energy before moving on to become the General Manager at Patriot Coal Corporation. Currently, Doug serves as the VP of Kanawha Valley Operations and General Manager at Blackhawk Mining.
