Simon Vollmer's work experience includes being a Co-Founder and Softwareentwickler at blackforestbytes GmbH since 2020, a Co-Founder at Plantafel Digital since 2022, and a Co-Founder at wir.kiste.kreis. since 2022. Prior to that, they worked as a Softwareingenieur at Erwin Junker Maschinenfabrik GmbH from 2018 to 2021 and as a Dualer Student im Studiengang Informationstechnik from 2015 to 2018. Simon also served as an Industriemechaniker at Walter AG (Walter Tools) from 2010 to 2014.

Simon Vollmer completed their education in a chronological order. Simon started their education at Berufliche Schulen Wolfach in 2010 and finished it in 2013. During this time, they pursued a degree in Industriemechaniker. In 2014, they moved to Gewerblich-Technische Schule Offenburg and obtained their Fachhochschulreife in the following year. Finally, from 2015 to 2018, Simon attended Duale Hochschule Baden-Württemberg (DHBW) Karlsruhe, where they graduated with a Bachelor of Engineering in Informationstechnologie.
