Julia Nakano has over 30 years of work experience in the technology and consulting industry. Julia currently holds the position of Senior Principal Consultant - Technology and Delivery at BBI since November 2020. Prior to that, they worked at DXC Technology as an Advisor Information Systems Architect from April 2017 to October 2020. Julia also served as a Principal Technology Consultant at Hewlett-Packard from March 2007 to March 2017 and as a Principal at Knightsbridge Solutions LLC from April 2000 to February 2007. Before that, they worked as an IT Consultant at Computer Consulting Services Corporation from June 1998 to April 2000. Julia began their career as a Systems Analyst/IT Consultant at Unisys in March 1997 and then worked as a Systems Analyst at Spectrum Engenharia from May 1996 to March 1997. Julia also gained experience as an IT Consultant at MSTEC Informatica from July 1994 to April 1996 and as a Programmer Analyst at IBM Brasil from January 1991 to March 1993.

Julia Nakano completed their Bachelor's degree in Computer Science from Pontifícia Universidade Católica de Campinas between 1988 and 1991. Julia later pursued further education at Hokkaido University from 1993 to 1994, where they focused on Pattern Recognition and obtained a Research degree.
