Tim Grunshaw is a seasoned engineering leader currently serving as the Director of Engineering at Partly since December 2022. Tim has also been involved with Blackbird since October 2021, focusing on discovering and investing in early-stage founders in New Zealand and Australia. Prior experience includes six years at Microsoft, where Tim held various roles, including Engineering Manager overseeing a team that processed vast amounts of financial data within the Azure and AI sectors, as well as positions as a Senior Software Engineer and Software Engineer II, specializing in financial data accuracy and natural language processing. Tim co-founded TradeIntel, a startup aimed at helping e-commerce sellers optimize their strategies and was part of the Lightning Lab startup accelerator in 2014. An engineering graduate from the University of Canterbury, Tim holds a Bachelor of Engineering in Electrical and Electronics.
