Brian O'Mara is a seasoned software engineering professional with over two decades of experience in the industry. Currently serving as a Principal Software Engineer at Blackbaud since October 2021, Brian has also held the position of Principal Software Architect at CoreLogic from April 2005 to September 2021. Previous roles include Senior Consultant at XTIVIA, Inc. from January 2002 to March 2005, Software Engineer at Voxpath Networks in 2001, and a Software Engineer position at ibooks.com in early 2001. Brian began a career in technology as an intern at Applied Resource Laboratories at the University of Texas at Austin from August 1998 to May 2000. Educationally, Brian holds a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science and a Bachelor of Arts in Biology/Anthropology, both from The University of Texas at Austin.
