Tecia Garrett Marshall

Tecia Garrett Marshall, MPA has extensive work experience in various organizations. Tecia Garrett currently works at St. Jude Children's Research Hospital - ALSAC as an Executive Technology Services, where they support C-suite users and manages all aspects of desktop and infrastructure support. Previously, they held the role of Chapter Technology Lead at Black Girls CODE. Tecia Garrett also worked as a Global Talent Partner at Lucy's Information Station and as a Notary Public, Remote Online Notary, and Loan Signing Agent at The Networking Notary. Tecia has significant involvement in Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc., serving as an Information Communication Technology Administrator for the Shelby County Alumnae Chapter and as a member of the Communications & Public Relations Team at the Southern Regional level. Additionally, they had a long-term role as an Instructional Facilitator and Trainer at Shelby County Schools.

Tecia Garrett Marshall, MPA obtained a BBA in Business Management from LeMoyne-Owen College in 2005. Tecia Garrett then pursued an MPA in Public Administration from Strayer University, completing it in 2008. In 2012, Tecia earned a Master of Arts degree from Union University, specializing in Education, Business Education, and Business Technology. Tecia Garrett is currently pursuing a Master of Science degree in Computer Engineering from Christian Brothers University, expected to graduate in 2023. In 2018, Tecia obtained several industry certifications, including CompTIA A+ and Project+. Additionally, they hold a Teaching License in Secondary Education (7-12) from the Tennessee Department of Education. Tecia has also obtained various additional certifications, such as Agile Foundations and Google Technical Writing I & II.
