Gillian Scott, AIA, currently serves as Project Architect II at BL Companies since October 2024 and has been an active Board Member and Member of AIA Wilmington since October 2022. Additionally, Gillian has held membership in AIA North Carolina since May 2020, progressing from AIA Associate to AIA Member. Prior experience includes roles as Project Architect and Architectural Designer at Apogee Consulting Group from July 2017 to October 2024, along with a position as JV Cheer Coach for New Hanover County Schools between October 2021 and April 2023. Gillian's earlier work experience also encompasses bartending at Dean's Kitchen + Bar and serving as an Information Technology Lab Assistant at North Carolina State University. Education includes a Bachelor of Architecture from North Carolina State University completed in 2020, and a Bachelor's in Environmental Design in Architecture from the same institution in 2017. Notably, a freelance graphic design project for Haute Wedding resulted in a logo redesign chosen from sixteen submissions, and a summer internship at Sidney Johnson involved creating and modifying construction documents using AutoCAD MEP.
