Richard Shapiro currently serves as a Data Analyst at BK Consulting, Inc., since June 2023. Prior to this role, Richard held the position of IT Consultant at Lucid Perspectives, an Avantus Federal Company, from October 2020 to June 2023, and served as a Senior Consultant at Booz Allen Hamilton from July 2018 to September 2020. Richard gained initial experience as a Research Analyst Intern at The Refugee Center Online in 2018 and worked as a Graduate Research Assistant in the EUPS Program at James Madison University from August 2017 to June 2018. Additionally, Richard worked as a Customer Support Specialist III at the IT Help Desk of James Madison University and interned at the Financial Industry Regulatory Authority (FINRA) in the summer of 2015. Richard holds a Graduate Certificate in Change Management Advanced Practitioner from Georgetown University, a Master's Degree in Political Science with a focus on European Union Policy Studies, and a Bachelor's Degree in International Relations and Affairs with a concentration in the Middle East, along with a degree in Political Science, from James Madison University.
