Wessel Ploegmakers is an accomplished finance professional with extensive experience in leadership and investment management. Currently serving as Chairman of the Board of Directors for multiple companies including Unik System Design, Sensire Ltd., TimePlan Software, Oiva Health, Blika Solutions AB, Björn Lundén AB, Alfa eCare AB, and Pointsharp AB, Wessel has demonstrated strong governance capabilities. Since May 2014, Wessel has been a Partner and co-head of Nordics at Main Capital Partners, having previously held roles as Senior Investment Manager and Business Analyst/Investment Manager within the firm. Wessel holds a Bachelor of Science in International Business Administration from Rotterdam School of Management, Erasmus University, and a Master’s degree in Finance & Investments from Erasmus University Rotterdam, supplemented by studies at renowned institutions such as the Stockholm School of Economics and The London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE).
