Marco Antonio Maycotte is an accomplished architect and creative leader with extensive experience in the field of architecture and design. Currently serving as an Associate and Senior Architect at BIG - Bjarke Ingels Group since March 2020, Marco also holds the position of Founder and Creative Director at LOCØ, a multidisciplinary collaborative based in London, Copenhagen, and Mexico City. Additionally, Marco leads the Alumni [London] Chapter for the University of Colorado. Previous roles include Project Leader and Architect at C.F. Møller Architects, Designer at Schmidt Hammer Lassen Architects, and contributions to several notable projects across various firms. Marco holds a Master of Arts in Architecture from Arkitektskolen Aarhus and a Bachelor of Environmental Design from the University of Colorado Boulder.
