Scout O'Keefe is an experienced software engineer with a diverse background in accessibility and mechanical design. Currently serving as a Staff Software Engineer at Bitsight since July 2017, Scout has progressed through roles as a Senior Software Engineer and Software Engineer at the same company. Prior to this, Scout was a Teaching Fellow at Fullstack Academy of Code and served as the Accessible ICT and Social Media Manager at the Institute for Human Centered Design, focusing on accessibility projects. Scout's early career included a position as a Mechanical Undergraduate Researcher at MIT Media Lab, contributing to the Huggable robotic teddy bear project. Scout holds a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology and completed the Grace Hopper Program in Fullstack JavaScript Development at Fullstack Academy.
