Abdullah Al Rashid has extensive experience in data science, software engineering, and analytical research, currently serving as a Senior Data Scientist at BitSight since June 2018, where responsibilities include analytics for cybersecurity risk ratings and collaboration on product development. Previously, Abdullah held roles ranging from a Health Data Science Fellow at Insight Data Science to a Software Engineer at AMD, focusing on platform security and cryptography. Abdullah also contributed to academia as a PhD Candidate at the University of Toronto, specializing in the theoretical development of optical biosensors and mentoring undergraduates in physics. Abdullah earned a Ph.D. in Theoretical and Mathematical Physics from the University of Toronto and has a Bachelor of Applied Science in Engineering Science.
