Barath Jawahar is an experienced engineering manager and product manager with a strong background in blockchain technology and user experience design. Currently at BitGo since November 2014, Barath oversees the blockchain wallet API and led the team responsible for developing Wrapped Bitcoin (WBTC). Prior to BitGo, Barath worked as the UX Lead at Panasonic USA, guiding a team of Carnegie Mellon University HCI Master's students to create a high-fidelity prototype. Barath's foundational experience includes software engineering at Samsung India, where responsibilities included developing and enhancing the ActiveSync mobile application. Barath holds a Master's degree in Human Computer Interaction from Carnegie Mellon University and a Bachelor's degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from the Birla Institute of Technology and Science, Pilani.
