Marcel Martinelli has a diverse work experience in the field of software engineering and development. Marcel is currently working as a Senior Software Engineer at Slimmer AI since April 2022. Prior to that, Marcel co-founded Bitboundaire in May 2021.

In 2021, Marcel worked as a Senior Software Development Engineer at Luxoft, where they initially worked on Java code, data processing, and storage. Later, they joined a different team in the same project, focusing on DevOps and CICD pipelines, involving technologies like Maven, Docker, shell scripts, and Python. Marcel also gained knowledge in DCOS/Marathon/Mesosphere and contributed to the creation of a solution pipeline for data cleanup, application deployment, data upload, and system platform testing.

Before Luxoft, Marcel worked at the Brazillian Federal Labour Prosecution Office from June 2015 to August 2021. Marcel held the position of Data Engineer and contributed to various projects involving data visualization, Data Lake implementation, data ingestion pipelines, and application development. Marcel utilized several technologies such as R, Python, Hadoop, Sqoop, Pig, Hive, Docker, Jenkins, Redis, Elastic Search, Impala, Spark, and Kafka.

From 2013 to 2015, Marcel worked at the Ministério Público Federal as a Team Leader in the integration division. Marcel led the development team and implemented pipelines using Jenkins, Docker, and Weblogic. Marcel also worked as a Java/JEE developer and played a role in agile advocacy, CI/CD implementation using Jira, and project management using Scrum.

Prior to that, Marcel worked at the Ministério Público do Trabalho from 2009 to 2013 as an IT Development Leader. Marcel managed a software development team and collaborated with clients to design and deliver solutions. Marcel also worked as a Full-stack Developer from 2007 to 2009 at the same organization.
