Kevin Liu, CFA, FRM has a diverse work experience in the finance industry. Kevin is currently working as the Risk Product Director at BIT Exchange since January 2023. Before that, they worked as a Senior Derivatives Quant (VP), Products at BitMEX from January 2022 to November 2022. Prior to that, they held the role of Product Owner/Senior Quant (Director) at UBS, focusing on a fintech startup called UBS Partner from July 2018 to January 2022. Kevin also worked at Credit Suisse as a Senior Quantitative Analyst (AVP) from October 2016 to June 2018. During their time there, they built a pension fund risk system and led a global team of quantitative analysts/developers. From January 2012 to October 2016, Kevin worked as a Quantitative Analyst (Senior Consultant) at PwC Switzerland, specializing in valuation, risk, and modeling. Kevin started their career as a Risk Management Trainee at AXA from February 2011 to October 2011.

Kevin Liu, CFA, FRM holds a Bachelor of Engineering (BE) degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from Nanyang Technological University Singapore. Kevin then pursued a Master of Science (MS) degree in Financial Engineering at EPFL (École polytechnique fédérale de Lausanne). Additionally, Kevin has obtained certifications from the CFA Institute as a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) in 2015, and from the Global Association of Risk Professionals (GARP) as a Certified Financial Risk Manager (FRM) in 2016.
