Aaron Gunderson has extensive work experience, starting in 2008 as the CEO and Founder of Bison. In 2013, they joined Ho-Chunk, Inc. as an Assistant Corporate Counsel. Aaron later moved on to become the Chief Legal Officer at 10 Roads Express in 2017.

Aaron Gunderson attended the University of South Dakota from 2006 to 2010, where they obtained a Bachelor of Business Administration (B.B.A.) degree with a focus on Management. Aaron then continued their education at the same institution from 2010 to 2013, earning both a Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) degree in Business Administration and Management and a Doctor of Law (J.D.) degree in Business Law.
