Wilbur Luna has extensive experience in education and museum services, currently serving as a docent in Hawaiian Hall at Bishop Museum since April 2009, with a focus on providing tours and educational activities. Previously, Wilbur held the position of Human and Civil Rights Manager at the National Education Association from March 1990 to September 2001, where responsibilities included managing training, providing technical assistance, overseeing staff activities, and coordinating minority and women’s affairs. Wilbur holds a Professional Certificate in English Language and Literature from the University of Hawai'i, a Master of Education in Administration and Curriculum Development from the University of Hawai'i at Manoa, and a Bachelor of Science in Health and Physical Education from Oregon State University.
