Pramod Walvekar has extensive work experience in the IT industry, starting with their role as a Web Developer and Technical Lead at Tata Consultancy Services from 1999 to 2005. Pramod then became an Integration Technical & Project Lead, where they delivered successful projects using enterprise application integration technologies. From 2005 to 2010, Pramod worked at Cognizant, initially as an Integration Architect and later as an Integration Technical Delivery Manager. During this time, they delivered large and complex integration programs and received awards for their leadership and project excellence. In 2011, they took on the role of Global Delivery Head at Cognizant, where they managed the delivery and business development of the Banking & Financial Services Vertical portfolio. In 2016, they became the Global Operations Head for Integration & BPM Practice. In 2020, Pramod joined Wipro as the Talent Engineering Head for the Cloud Enterprise Platform Service Line, and later took on the role of Talent Engineering Head for the Applications & Data Service Line. Currently, they hold the position of Vice President and Head of Operations for Manufacturing and CMT Verticals at Birlasoft.

Pramod Walvekar completed their Bachelor of Engineering degree in Mechanical Engineering from the National Institute of Technology Jamshedpur from 1995 to 1999.
