Mark Astley currently serves as Head of Talent at Birdie, a role commenced in July 2024. Prior to this, Mark held the position of Director of Talent Acquisition at Vinted / Kleiderkreisel from November 2020 to December 2023, where significant contributions included developing a hiring strategy, enhancing employee branding, promoting diversity and inclusion, and launching new locations. Mark's experience also includes leadership roles at GoCardless, Dealogic, and several positions at Goldman Sachs, Barclays, and other firms where responsibilities encompassed scaling offices, developing talent acquisition teams, and managing various recruitment strategies. Mark holds a MA in English from the University of St Andrews (2000-2004).
