Steven Thompson is a seasoned Senior iOS Engineer currently at Bird, with extensive experience in mobile development, particularly in iOS. Previously, Steven held the title of Senior Mobile Developer at Shopify, where innovative features in React Native and Swift were developed for Shop Pay and native iOS analytics for the Shopify Mobile app. Early career roles included iOS Developer positions at Aequilibrium, airG Inc., and BrainTest Inc., where multiple apps were created and maintained. Steven also has a background in leadership, having served as Chief Returning Officer for the McMaster Student Union, facilitating elections for over 20,000 students.
