Patrick Rea is a seasoned venture capital professional with extensive experience in the cannabis sector. Currently serving as Managing Director of Poseidon Garden Ventures since March 2021, Patrick focuses on growth-stage investments prior to Series A funding. In addition to managing their own venture capital fund, Patrick has been involved with multiple companies as an investor and board observer since 2021. As the founder of CanopyBoulder, a leading business accelerator in the cannabis industry, Patrick oversees several funds while providing support to startup founders. Patrick's advisory roles extend to Apex Trading and previously included the board of directors for companies like Komplyd, which successfully exited to Green Check Verified. Educationally, Patrick holds dual Bachelorā€™s degrees in Geology and Organizational Behavior & Management from Brown University.
