Vaishnavi Penta is currently serving as a Governmental Relations Intern at Bipartisan Policy Center since September 2024 and holds several leadership roles at the UT Senate of College Councils, including Policy Director. Previous experience includes positions as a Policy Analyst at McWilliams Governmental Affairs Consultants and Research Assistant at Innovations for Peace and Development, where thorough analysis of the United Nationsā SDG goals was conducted. Vaishnavi has also worked as a Legislative Aide for the Texas Senate, a Legal Researcher for the Angel for Texas Campaign, and a Constituent Services Intern with the Texas House of Representatives, providing support to constituents and researching legislation. Additional experience encompasses roles in social media management and grassroots activism, with a focus on issues such as education funding and period poverty. Vaishnavi is pursuing a Bachelor of Arts at The University of Texas at Austin, expected to graduate in May 2026.
