BPC Action, Governmental Relations Intern at Bipartisan Policy Center

Vaishnavi Penta is currently serving as a Governmental Relations Intern at Bipartisan Policy Center since September 2024 and holds several leadership roles at the UT Senate of College Councils, including Policy Director. Previous experience includes positions as a Policy Analyst at McWilliams Governmental Affairs Consultants and Research Assistant at Innovations for Peace and Development, where thorough analysis of the United Nationsā€™ SDG goals was conducted. Vaishnavi has also worked as a Legislative Aide for the Texas Senate, a Legal Researcher for the Angel for Texas Campaign, and a Constituent Services Intern with the Texas House of Representatives, providing support to constituents and researching legislation. Additional experience encompasses roles in social media management and grassroots activism, with a focus on issues such as education funding and period poverty. Vaishnavi is pursuing a Bachelor of Arts at The University of Texas at Austin, expected to graduate in May 2026.
