James B Lockhart III has extensive experience in the financial and regulatory sectors, currently serving as a Senior Fellow at the Bipartisan Policy Center since April 2018, focusing on retirement security and housing issues. Prior roles include Vice Chairman at WL Ross, where responsibilities included leading the Financial Services investment team, and Director at the Federal Housing Finance Agency, overseeing the regulation of Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac.
