Kendalle Burlin O'Connell, Esq. serves as the CEO and President of MassBio since October 2008, leading the organization's strategic direction and global expansion to support Massachusetts life sciences companies. In addition to the role at MassBio, Kendalle holds various leadership positions including Chair of the Board of Directors at BioversityMA, Board Director at The Boston Foundation and MassBioEd Foundation, and Vice Chair of the Board of Directors for the American Cancer Society in Eastern New England. Prior legal experience includes serving as an Associate Attorney at Cody & Cody, LLC, and as a law clerk in labor relations for Boston Public Schools and Angoff, Goldman, Manning, Wanger & Hynes, P.C. Kendalle earned a Bachelor of Arts in Economics and Political Science from Sacred Heart University and a Juris Doctor from Suffolk University Law School.
