Felipe Llinares-López is a co-founder and principal research scientist at Bioptimus, with extensive experience in research positions at Google, where Felipe served as both senior research scientist and research scientist. Prior to these roles, Felipe completed postdoctoral and PhD research in machine learning and computational biology at ETH Zürich, where Felipe also earned a Doctorate in the same field from 2014 to 2018. Felipe's academic background includes a combined Bachelor’s and Master’s degree in telecommunications engineering from Universidad Carlos III de Madrid, obtained from 2007 to 2012.
