Yair Barak has worked in a variety of roles in the engineering and product management fields. From 2010-2011, they were a Mechanical Lab Assistant at the Standards Institution of Israel. From 2011-2019, they worked at HP in two roles: Senior Product Manager and Mechanical Engineer. In 2019, they began working at GE Healthcare as an NPI Leader and in 2022 they joined BioProtect Ltd as a Senior Engineering Project Manager. In each role, they have been responsible for implementing infrastructure, machinery, and production processes, developing and training new and existing infrastructure, and managing budgets. Yair has also been responsible for designing transfer and production lines, product life cycle management, process development, automation process implementation, and yield improvement.

Yair Barak studied Mechanical Engineering at Ben-Gurion University of the Negev from 2007 to 2011, earning an Engineer's Degree. Yair then attended Ben-Gurion University of the Negev from 2013 to 2015, studying Energy Engineering.
