Anthony Miniaci, MD. FRCSC is on the Strategic Advisory Board as a Medical Director for BioPoly, LLC. Dr. Miniaci’s responsibilities include providing strategic guidance and leadership for BioPoly in the areas of regulatory, product development and business development. Formerly an orthopaedic surgeon from Toronto, Canada, he was a full professor at the University of Toronto, where he was in charge of Sports Medicine. He was recruited to become the Director of Sports Medicine in 2003 and is currently a staff physician within Cleveland Clinic's Center for Sports Health. His specialty interests include shoulder and, knee reconstruction and cartilage resurfacing with a special interest in early treatments for arthritis in young active individuals. He has developed a number of innovative operative procedures, holds numerous patents and treats patients from around the world.
