Dr. Yalloway has over 22 years of multidisciplinary research experience and skills in enzyme engineering, protein purification, and structural functional relationships of proteins of medical and industrial interest. He has significant experience in regulatory affairs with both the US Food and Drug Administration and Health Canada. He is highly experienced in all aspects of R&D, process development, and the scale-up and manufacture of therapeutic proteins. His specialties include upstream and downstream processing, especially isolation of inclusion bodies, protein refolding, and purification of proteins from bacterial sources, including large-scale production and bulk manufacturing of recombinant proteins. Dr. Yalloway earned his PhD from the University College Dublin, Ireland and was a post- doctoral fellow at the Institute for Biophysical Chemistry, Frankfurt, Germany and the University of British Columbia, Vancouver. He was also a postdoctoral research associate at Simon Fraser University where he was a lab manager and a team leader responsible for the project management of junior scientists. He has completed six years of post-doctoral work and has 11 peer-reviewed publications.
