Arran Shearer currently serves as Senior Vice President & Head of Global Market Access & Pricing at BioNTech SE, a position held since October 2024. Prior to this role, Arran was Vice President at Bristol Myers Squibb from July 2021 to October 2024, overseeing Global Health Economics and Outcomes Research, as well as Market Access and Pricing. Arran's extensive experience includes leadership roles at Amgen, where responsibilities ranged from global pricing and market access for oncology to health economics for various therapeutic areas. Previous positions also include significant roles at Celgene, GlaxoSmithKline, and academic contributions at the University of York, Stanford University, and the University of Bristol. Arran holds an MSc in Economics from the University of Bristol and a BA (Hons) in Economics from The University of Sheffield.
