Corinne Kay has extensive work experience in the field of research and pharmaceuticals. Corinne is currently the Chief Research Officer and Founder of Biomedrex, a position they have held since March 2018. Prior to this, they worked as an Associate Lecturer at The Open University starting in 2007. Corinne has also served as a Director at Med-Simple since 2005. Before that, they worked as a Senior Scientist at Organon Pharmaceuticals from 2001 to 2004. Corinne started their career as a Research Scientist at GlaxoSmithKline in 1990 and later worked as a Research Chemist at Roche from 1984 to 1990, where they specialized in solid phase peptide and oligonucleotide synthesis and worked on various research projects.
Corinne Kay obtained their PhD in Chemistry from the University of Cambridge, where they studied from 1996 to 2000. In November 2016, they also obtained the certification of Fellow Chartered Chemist from the Royal Society of Chemistry.
