Lan Nguyen has a solid work experience in risk management, starting as an Assistant Risk Manager at BioMed Realty in November 2018. They progressed through various roles within the company, becoming Risk Manager in January 2019, Director of Risk Management in January 2020, Senior Director of Risk Management in September 2021, and currently hold the position of Vice President of Risk Management since January 2023. Prior to their tenure at BioMed Realty, Lan worked as a Senior Risk Management Analyst at the San Diego County Regional Airport Authority from August 2016 to November 2018. Their professional journey also includes positions at Sempra Energy, where they served as Audit Services from July 2007 to December 2009, Senior Insurance & Risk Advisory Analyst from May 2013 to August 2016, and Special Projects Analyst - Litigation Claims from January 2010 to May 2013, acquiring expertise in valuations, claim analysis, and process improvement.

Lan Nguyen has a Bachelor's Degree in Accountancy and Information Systems from the University of San Diego. Additionally, Lan has obtained a certification as a Construction Risk and Insurance Specialist (CRIS) from IRMI.
