Imad Melhem is an accomplished business leader with extensive experience in the medical device and healthcare sectors. Currently serving as the Business Head for MEA at Avanos Medical since July 2022, Imad is focused on regional transformation and growth strategy development. Previously, Imad held the position of Head of Sales MEA at ResMed from September 2017 to August 2021, where a successful growth strategy for Sleep & RC solutions was developed across over 20 geographies. Prior to that, Imad contributed to Dubai Healthcare City Authority as a member of the Fitness to Practice Panel, receiving recognition from the CEO. Additional experience includes impressive sales leadership roles at Verathon Inc., MOOG Medical Devices Group, and Lumenis, with a strong emphasis on market entry strategies and achieving significant revenue growth. Imad holds an MBA in Global Supply Chain Management from Canisius University and a BSc in Biomedical Engineering from Jordan University for Science & Technology.
