Nia Dawson, MS, is an experienced professional in biotechnology and regulatory affairs with a diverse background in various scientific and service-oriented roles. Currently serving as the QC Bio Team Lead and Senior QC Analyst in Biology at BioIVT since August 2019, Nia specializes in hepatocyte and microsome testing to ensure compliance with quality specifications. Previous experience includes positions as a Funeral Assistant/Apprentice at Hines-Rinaldi Funeral Home, Scientist II at Thermo Fisher Scientific, and Research Associate II at Caliper Life Sciences, among others. Nia holds a Bachelor of Science in Biology from the University of Maryland Eastern Shore, an A.A.S. in Funeral Service and Mortuary Science from The Community College of Baltimore County, and a Master of Science in Biotechnology-Regulatory Affairs from the University of Maryland Global Campus.
