Nolan Sutherland possesses extensive experience in biopharmaceutical development and process engineering, currently serving as a member of the Scientific Editorial Advisory Board for BioInsights since September 2019. Nolan held the role of Associate Director and Senior Scientist at Ring Therapeutics from January 2022 to December 2024. Prior to this, Nolan contributed to bluebird bio as a Viral Vector R&D Scientist and Senior Associate Scientist from October 2013 to December 2021, where key achievements included the development of advanced viral vector production processes and bioreactor process development. Earlier positions included roles at Teva Biopharmaceuticals USA, Shire HGT, and Ipsen, focusing on upstream bioprocessing and purification techniques. Nolan holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology from the University of Massachusetts Amherst.
