Katie Talley is a skilled Water Resources Engineer with extensive experience in ecological restoration and stormwater management. Since May 2014, Katie has been with Biohabitats, focusing on assessing and overseeing restoration projects across the Mid-Atlantic region, having evaluated over 70 watersheds and restored nearly four miles of stream. Prior to this role, Katie worked as an Agricultural and Biological Engineer at ABSMaterials, Inc., where responsibilities included designing low impact development practices and site-specific designs for clients. Katie also gained experience at USDA-ARS as an Engineering Technician, researching wind erosion and soil loss, and at Kansas State University as a Graduate Research Assistant, studying constructed wetlands for wastewater treatment. Educational qualifications include a Master of Science and a Bachelor of Science in Biological/Biosystems Engineering from Kansas State University.
