Emily Fellows is an experienced Loon Biologist currently employed at the Biodiversity Research Institute since May 2021, having previously held seasonal positions there focused on loon research. With a background in environmental biology, Emily has conducted ecological studies involving artificial nesting rafts for Common loons and waterbird surveys across various projects. Notable past roles include Wildlife Technician at HDR, Point Count Technician at the University of Delaware, and Brood Technician for Ducks Unlimited, all highlighting expertise in avian monitoring and data collection. Additional experience spans customer service as a Pharmacy Technician and Seasonal Sales Associate, further demonstrating a well-rounded professional background. Emily holds a Bachelor of Science in Environmental Biology from the State University of New York College of Environmental Science and Forestry.
