Dr. Bijon Chatterji has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries. Dr. Bijon started their career as an M.Sc. student at Technische Universität Braunschweig in 2004. Dr. Bijon then joined Fraunhofer ITEM as a Ph.D. student from 2004 to 2009. After completing their Ph.D., Dr. Chatterji worked as a Lecturer at Hannover Medical School from 2010 to 2014, also serving as a Postdoctoral Fellow during that time.

In 2014, Dr. Chatterji transitioned to Agilent Technologies, where they took on the role of Product Specialist LC/MS until 2015. Following that, they joined biocrates life sciences ag as a Business Development Manager in Germany from 2015 to 2019. Dr. Bijon then advanced to the position of Director Business Development - Germany, Benelux from 2020 to 2022. Currently, Dr. Chatterji holds the position of Go-to-Market Lead Population Health at biocrates life sciences ag since 2020.

Throughout their career, Dr. Chatterji has gained expertise in business development, as well as lecturing and conducting research in the medical field.

Dr. Bijon Chatterji completed their undergraduate studies from 1999 to 2004 at Technische Universität Braunschweig, where they earned a Diplom degree. Dr. Bijon pursued further studies at Leibniz Universität Hannover from 2005 to 2009, completing their doctoral degree, Dr. rer. nat. However, no specific field of study was provided for either of their degrees.
