Vinit Bajaj possesses extensive experience in the biotechnology sector, currently serving as Team Lead, Associate Scientific Manager, and Principal Scientist at Biocon since January 2016. Prior experience includes a role as Research Associate at the Indian Institute of Technology, Bombay, where Vinit contributed to collaborative government projects and conducted multivariate data analysis on child health data from various stakeholders. Vinit also held a position as a Commonwealth Fellow at the University of Saskatchewan, focusing on biocatalysis. Initial industry exposure includes a project trainee role at Biocon in 2009. Vinit holds a PhD in Fermentation Technology and Bioprocess Technology from the Institute of Chemical Technology, alongside an M. Tech and a B. Pharm degree, showcasing a solid educational foundation in pharmaceutical and bioprocess disciplines.
