Torie Sims has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries. They started their career as a Shift Supervisor at Starbucks, where they oversaw various projects and ensured customer satisfaction. They then worked at Imatech Manufacturing as a Secretary/Receptionist, handling communication and scheduling tasks. Additionally, they served as a Marketing Assistant, managing client relations and conducting outreach. At BAART Programs, Torie held multiple roles, including Community Engagement Manager and Patient Navigator, where they focused on promoting services and building partnerships in the harm reduction field. They also worked as a Fiscal Clerk/Receptionist, handling administrative tasks and assisting clients. Most recently, at Biocom California, Torie worked as a Member Engagement Associate, supporting members and facilitating engagement within the life science community.

Torie Sims holds a Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in Psychology with a focus in Criminology and Criminal Justice from Arizona State University. In addition to their degree, Torie has obtained two certifications from Coursera in 2022: "Foundations of Project Management" and "Project Initiation: Starting a Successful Project."
