Amy Butler is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in the biosciences sector. Currently serving as President of Biosciences at Thermo Fisher Scientific since February 2014, Amy has held several strategic roles within the company, including Vice President and General Manager of Cell Biology and VP of Global Marketing & Ebusiness Life Sciences Solutions. In addition, Amy is a board member of Biocom California and part of the Board of Directors for the Alliance for Regenerative Medicine. Prior to Thermo Fisher, Amy held multiple leadership roles at Life Technologies, including VP Global Head of Marketing, and began their career at McKinsey & Co. as an Engagement Manager in Health Care. Amy's academic background includes a Ph.D. in Neuroscience from the University of Pennsylvania and a Bachelor's Degree in Biology from the University at Buffalo.
