Alec Cassel is an experienced Application Development Engineer II at Biocoat since April 2022, following a role as an Associate Engineer at IMSE, where responsibilities included reviewing Design History Files, drafting verification and validation reports, and updating CAD models of medical implants. Prior experience includes positions as a Project Engineer and Specification Review & Development Analyst at Oliver Healthcare Packaging, with tasks focused on generating drawings and developing engineering masters. Alec also served as an Engineering Assistant at Automated Conveying Systems, designing components and fabricating parts, and completed a Mechanical Engineering internship at Edgewell Personal Care, along with teaching assistance in Materials Engineering at the University of Delaware. Alec holds a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering with minors in Biomechanical Engineering, Economics, and Mathematics from the University of Delaware.
