Sandra Verhaegen has a diverse professional background with over 25 years of experience in customer service and sales support roles. Sandra most recently worked as a Customer Service Agent at Biobest Group starting in February 2022. Prior to that, from April 2021 to February 2022, Sandra was employed at Lyreco Benelux / Intersafe Belgium as part of their front office customer service team. From April 2017 to April 2021, they served as a Sales Assistant at DCM, where they demonstrated their skills in sales support. Sandra has also previously worked for GE Water & Process Technologies for over 13 years, holding the position of Customer Service Representative from February 2004 to March 2017. Before that, they gained experience in sales support as a Verkoopbinnendienst at Aleris in 2001. Sandra began their career at Black Box Network Services in 1996 as a Commercieel assistent, where they performed general administrative tasks such as typing up quotes and handling correspondence.

Sandra Verhaegen attended Sint Michielsinstituut Keerbergen from 1983 to 1989. Sandra obtained an A2 degree in Handel & Administratie during this period.
