Celeste Dufour is currently a Field Applications Scientist at Bio-Techne since April 2024. Prior to this role, Celeste worked as an Associate Scientist at Wugen from January 2022 to March 2024 and served as an Undergraduate Research Assistant at Michigan State University from September 2019 to December 2021, focusing on metalloenzymes in the Hegg Lab. In addition to research, Celeste was an Outreach and Curation Intern, contributing to the publication of Michigan Trees in QUBES and digitizing fern specimens in the MSU Herbarium. Earlier experiences include a summer internship in R&D at Wugen and a Teaching Assistant position for a STEM program at The Engineering Society of Detroit, where Celeste mentored female students. Celeste earned a Bachelor's degree in Biochemistry/Biotechnology from Michigan State University.
