Amitabha Bandopadyay is currently an advisor at Bio Craft Innovation. Prior to that, they were a postdoctoral fellow at Harvard Medical School from January 2002 to December 2006. Amitabha has also worked at IIT Kanpur. Amitabha's research interests include biomedical engineering and nanotechnology.

Amitabha Bandopadyay has a PhD in Developmental and Molecular Biology from Albert Einstein College of Medicine. Amitabha also has a BSc in Chemistry from Presidency University. Amitabha attended Hooghly Collegiate School for their high school education.
