Duane Theleman, PMP, has been the Director of PMO at Binghamton University since May 2016, focusing on the establishment and development of project management standards and processes within the Information Technology Services department. Prior to this role, Duane served as a Project Manager at Ascension Information Services from September 2008 to May 2016, and held the position of Business Development Manager at BlueStorm Technologies, Inc. from March 2006 to August 2008, where responsibilities included sales, marketing, and project management for IT services. Duane began a career in project management as a Senior Project Manager at TDS Telecom from August 2003 to March 2006, overseeing telecommunications equipment installations. Duane earned a Bachelor of Science in Marketing and Management Information Systems from the University at Albany between 1989 and 1993, and graduated with a NYS Regents Diploma with Honors from Whitney Point Central School in 1989.
