Colleen Ilacqua is an experienced legal professional currently serving as an Attorney Advocate for Binder and Binder since February 2013, representing claimants in Social Security Disability hearings across Virginia, excluding Northern Virginia. Prior to this role, Colleen worked as a Magistrate for the Supreme Court of Virginia from September 2009 to February 2013, handling probable cause and bail hearings, and issuing various legal orders. Colleen also served as a Legal Studies Instructor at Bryant & Stratton College in 2012, teaching classes on Legal Research and Writing and Criminal Law. A former Legal Clerk Extern for The Honorable Keary Williams in 2007 and an intern at the Northwest Buffalo Community Center's Crime Victim Assistance Program in 2005, Colleen holds a Juris Doctor from Appalachian School of Law and a Bachelor of Science in Criminal Justice and Corrections from Buffalo State University.
