Yves Awa Muguma is a professional with extensive experience in economics, data analysis, and digital finance. Currently serving as a member of the Strategic Working Group for the African Continental Free Trade Area at the United Nations Economic Commission for Africa, Yves is involved in significant initiatives related to economic diversification and special economic zones. As the CEO and Co-founder of Recharge And Get Paid DRC, there is leadership in facilitating interoperability within mobile payment systems. Yves also acts as the DRC Country Representative for the Equal Trade Alliance, advocating for fair trade practices in natural resources. Additional roles include serving as a trade finance executive at Euro Exim Bank and taking part in various research and training initiatives focused on macroeconomics, cryptocurrencies, and blockchain technology. Educational qualifications include a degree in Statistics and Economics from ISSEA-CEMAC and ongoing studies in Public Finance at Ecole d'Economie - CERDI.
