Cooper Weissman is a media planner at Billups since March 2023, with a robust background in education and student support. At The University of Texas at Austin from August 2019 to May 2022, Cooper independently designed and taught the course “Beyond the End of the World,” examining the concept of the end of the world in American culture, while also serving as a teaching assistant for an Introduction to American Studies course. Prior experience includes supporting students and families in resource connection as an AmeriCorps Student Support Specialist with Communities In Schools of Seattle, and serving as an AmeriCorps Academic Coach at Peace Community Center, where individualized academic plans were developed for high school students. Cooper holds a Master of Arts in American Studies from Yale University and a Bachelor's degree in International Business from the University of Puget Sound.
