James Reeves is a seasoned legal professional with extensive experience in corporate law and governance. Currently serving as Senior Director of Legal at Billerud since April 2022, James previously held the same title at Verso Corporation from July 2021 to March 2022. Prior to that, James was Corporate Counsel at Jason Group Inc. from September 2014 to December 2020. James began a legal career as an Associate at Foley & Lardner LLP, contributing to the Transactional & Securities Practice Group from September 2008 to October 2013. James's diverse background includes roles in accounting and auditing, with positions at the Wisconsin Department of Public Instruction, US Bank, Baker Tilly Virchow Krause, LLP, and the State of Wisconsin Legislative Audit Bureau. James holds a Juris Doctor from the University of Wisconsin Law School and a BBA in Accounting from the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater, along with training in Skills for Success from Dale Carnegie.
